Key Map

Repeatedly pressing a number on the KeyPad will cycle through the available character options. Below is a table view of all available characters.

Keyboard Shortcuts

While using the Braintree Verifone Reader app you can access certain utility screens via keyboard combinations. Press the following combinations.

BUTTON COMBINATION	FUNCTION
2 + 8	Displays the reader settings from the screensaver
Hold X (8 Seconds)	Enters the Power Panel Reboot or Shutdown the P400 & enter Deep Sleep on e285 device.

The reader has a few screens to indicate its connectivity state. The default PayPal screensaver indicates that the reader is connected and ready for test transactions.
